The feast day of St Michael

The feast day of St Michael on the 29th September has traditionally been associated with harvest time. It is one of the four great festivals of the year alongside Christmas, Easter and St John’s tide. Rudolf Steiner spoke of these festivals in terms of mighty imaginations that describe spiritual happenings of the changing seasons. The painting on the front by Karin Jarman attempts to show the Michael Imagination that he described.
